On 1 January 2017, CA Cultural Technology Group acquired 85.1% equity shares of SEGA Live Creation Inc. which holds SEGA JOYPOLIS with a consideration of 600 million yen (approximately HKD44.51 million) and became the controlling shareholder. The name of the Company was changed to “CA SEGA JOYPOLIS Co., Ltd” and SEGA holds the rest of the 14.9% equity shares. The original management and execution team of SLC remained unchanged.
